We sat down with the Founder of EMBRI and Full-Time Toddler Wrangler Briana Greer to get some insight on how the brand came about and what she envisions for the brand's future. Scroll down to get the scoop on how this #girlboss does it all.

 

I’ve always been really into design, specifically interior design and my dad loves to tell the story about my brother and I starting a Bank called “Ashley’s Banks” (Shout out Fresh Prince) in the computer room of our home when we were banned from TV for a week. So yes, I guess I’ve always had a subconscious interest in both. I’m also super passionate about living life on your own terms so if it wasn’t this I am sure I would have found my way to entrepreneurship at some point in life.

You know, it all kind of happened super organically. I needed a MacBook case and went looking for a cute one online. I couldn’t find anything I really liked, and I had JUST made a glitter coffee mug that I found a tutorial for on Pinterest so I thought hey! A glitter MacBook case would be cute. I bought a clear case from some random site, and when it arrived I went to town. It turned out super cute and I posted it on my personal Instagram. It got a lot of attention and people started asking me to make them one, so of course I did and decided I’d make an Etsy. The rest is really history.

 

 

Honestly, every day is different. My two year old daughter is my alarm clock and she usually wakes me up around 7am. I make a nice hefty breakfast because if I don’t eat in the morning my entire day is ruined and once we are out the door I’m usually running all over the place until it’s time to pick her up. Sometimes it’s a photoshoot, meeting, back to back calls, emails, but always the post office. The people at our local post office are our friends- they get Christmas gifts and all! haha But as an Aries, I like to keep physically busy so you can count on me tapping my toes with full blown anxiety if I’m sitting in one spot for too long.

My brain is always SPINNING with ideas! It gets hard to compartmentalize them all but our current #1 goal is to make quality tech accessories that are both cute and functional. If we are talking big picture- the ultimate goal is to use EMBRI as a platform to connect. Connect with other interesting brands, artisans, and just really cool people doing amazing things in the world. At my core, I'm a giver and a creative. I like those qualities about myself so I'd love for my brand to be a representation of that. Things like curating innovative events and collaborating with inspiring artists or influencers are high up on my to do list!

   

   

Anything Asian-y. Teriyaki chicken, Miso Soup, Sushi… I’m here for it!

 

Bali or Greece! I’ve been dying to go for at least 3 years now.

 

hmmmm... Thats a really hard one. Beyoncé, Oprah, Michelle Obama? Maybe even Tracee Ellis Ross? IDK but I’d def want to still be alive! LOL

 

Happiness.... and a nice car...but Happiness for sure! haha
